Access to the hut: Tem\u00adpo\u00adra\u00adry diver\u00adsi\u00adon due to tree felling<\/strong><\/p>\n

This adds about 10 minu\u00adtes to the walk to the hut. The rou\u00adte leads through a beau\u00adtiful larch forest, con\u00adti\u00adnuing in the sha\u00adde to the \u2018Kal\u00adten Brun\u00adnen\u2019 and back onto the main path.<\/p>\n

Plea\u00adse use the car park at the tim\u00adber sto\u00adrage area and ensu\u00adre that the access rou\u00adte remains clear.<\/p>\n

Public trans\u00adport
<\/strong>The most envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal\u00adly fri\u00adend\u00adly way to get to the hut is to take a train to Aus\u00adser\u00adberg and start your hiking jour\u00adney from the\u00adre. The ascent from the\u00adre to the hut is about 4.5 hours. Alter\u00adna\u00adtively, the\u00adre is a taxi ser\u00advice from Aus\u00adser\u00adberg to \u00abFux\u00adtritt\u00bb that shor\u00adtens the rise con\u00adsider\u00ada\u00adb\u00adly, Taxi Zer\u00adzu\u00adben Visp +41 (0)27 948 04 80. Or for small groups Taxi Yvonne Aus\u00adser\u00adberg +41 (0)78 684 35 91.<\/p>\n

If you arri\u00adve by pri\u00adva\u00adte car<\/strong>, you need to get a par\u00adking per\u00admit at the top of the vil\u00adla\u00adge Aus\u00adser\u00adberg. You can get the per\u00admit at all par\u00adking machi\u00adnes, restau\u00adrants and shops of the vil\u00adla\u00adge. You\u2019ll then dri\u00adve up the forest road to the place cal\u00adled \u00abFux\u00adtritt\u00bb on 1800 m. This is whe\u00adre the road ends and the hiking jour\u00adney starts.
Par\u00adking<\/strong>
Plea\u00adse do not park your car on the tur\u00adning area, as other cars may need this space to dri\u00adve out. Sim\u00adply park on the side of the road. Plea\u00adse lea\u00adve the gra\u00adzing are\u00adas and the road open. From the \u00abFux\u00adtritt\u00bb, the hike takes about 1.5 hours until you reach the hut.<\/p>\n

Dri\u00adving per\u00admit<\/strong>
To use the roads out\u00adside the vil\u00adla\u00adge Aus\u00adser\u00adberg you have to buy a dri\u00adving per\u00admit. This cos\u00adts 5.\u2013 CHF per day and each addi\u00adtio\u00adnal day + 3.\u2013 CHF. It is also pos\u00adsi\u00adble to buy an annu\u00adal per\u00admit for 40.\u2013 CHF.<\/p>\n

    The muni\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adli\u00adty of Ausserberg\u2019s poli\u00adce regu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adons, effec\u00adti\u00adve from April 2024, express\u00adly pro\u00adhi\u00adbit any form of cam\u00adping or over\u00adnight stays throug\u00adhout the enti\u00adre muni\u00adci\u00adpal ter\u00adri\u00adto\u00adry.
    Our tip: Set off in good time so you still have time to reach the hut trail, or stay over\u00adnight down in the val\u00adley and dri\u00adve up the next mor\u00adning.
