It's most ecological to take the train to Ausserberg. From Ausserberg the ascent is about 4 hours. You can also get the Taxibus to Fuxtritt (1851 m). From there, it is only 1 1/2 hours of hiking. We reccomend Bustrans Ausserberg (079 214 51 55) or Taxi Zerzuben Visp (027 948 04 80).
